St. Francis football club welcome the news over the weekend relating to O’Driscoll O’Neill insurance company extending the players insurance scheme within the Leinster senior league to Sunday September 14 2020. 

The agreement will allow both of our senior aides return to action in the middle of July to complete their respective seasons which have seen both of our sides compete for league honors. The club have strict procedures in place to ensure all distancing guidelines and regulations set out by the HSE & FAI are followed to ensure safety for all players and coaching staff for when matches resume.

The club would like to note it’s gratitude towards  the Leinster Senior League for brokering the agreement with ODON insurance & ensuring the safety of our players is paramount.
